ABOUT US
The decision to establish a Japan Hindi Cultural Centre (JHCC), was taken in a meeting of prominent Indian community members held at the Osaka Indian Community premises on June 10, 2016 and the Centre was formally inaugurated on September 26, 2016. A formal constitution of the Japan Hindi Cultural Centre was drafted and signed by the Ad hoc Committee members on July 3, 2016 and the first elections were held on July 15, 2015. With the participation of 33 members. Later the number of members increased to 256. The JHCC was started in Osaka Japan which was officially inaugurated by Dr. Poornima S. on 26th September 2016.
In pursuit of giving a face-lift to its premises, the JHCC was shifted to new premises in Nagano Japan during the year 2019 location. It turned out to be a set up with more space, and subsequently it enhanced the activities to a wider spectrum.

WHAT WE DO
JHCC is the official body of Indian expatriate community functioning for the purpose of advancement of Hindi, social, and cultural activities of the Indian community in Japan.
OUR COMMUNITY
JHCC is also the platform to serve the interest of almost 31689 Indians residing in Japan. This Cultural body is also committed to promote the rich Indian culture among Japanese nationals and expatriate communities of all other nationalities living in Japan. It also functions to support the Indian Embassy to strengthen the deep-rooted Indo-Japan friendship and cultural relationship.
